David Dwyer has been an active Screen Actors Guild member for 33 years and has appeared in nearly 100 films and TV series. He was recently seen as Sheriff Smoot Schmidt in Netflix's The Highwaymen, with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson, and has finished work on Netflix's Hillbilly Elegy, helmed by Ron Howard and starring a ferocious Glen Close, the fantastic Amy Adams and the indelible Bo Hopkins.
Several years ago David was brought back to the theatre, after an absence of more than 30 years, for a UT Clarence Brown production of Amadeus. That proved fortuitous as it reignited his love and passion for extraordinary theatre. David has always loved a good story, well told, so he is proud and excited to be on the board of Flying Anvil Theatre as we all navigate our paths through these most interesting and challenging times.
